my buddy makes these origami flowers and blesses people with them all day long. creative people’s often are compelled to present someone with a parting gift, a memento of our visit together. it doesn’t have to be anything fancy in fact, the simpler the better. his roses can bud and open out of a piece of paper as small as a gum wrapper. recently, I set one down on this painting and thought ‘Wow, that looks fabulous’.
